The Royal Canadian Artillery Association celebrates the 150th Anniversary of the formation of the first full-time or regular elements of the post-Confederation Canadian Army.  "A" and "B" batteries exist to this day as sub-units of 1st Regiment, Royal Canadian Horse Artillery.

UBIQUE 150 In 1871, most British troops in Canada were withdrawn. "A" and "B" Batteries were formed to take their place in manning the fortifications at Kingston and Quebec and as schools of gunnery for the Active Militia - symbolizing in both roles Canada’s new responsibility for its own defence. 150 years later, The Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery, comprises 25 units represented in 33 towns and cities from Victoria to Yarmouth.  Its more than 4000 members, Regular and Reservist alike, continue to serve proudly at home and abroad, in keeping with its motto, “UBIQUE” – “everywhere”, and mindful of the of legacy of those Gunners who have gone before. Since 1876, The Royal Canadian Artillery Association has promoted the effectiveness and welfare of The Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery and of all matters pertaining to the defence of Canada.

UBIQUE 150 is an opportunity for us to strengthen the bonds of our Regimental Family, promote our contribution to the success of the Army, and increase Canadians’ awareness of our presence in their communities while expressing pride in who we are and what we do as Gunners. I have been a patron of your establishment since spending my honeymoon at your Inn in '92. I have never been disappointed with your products or your service and it gets better every year. Thank you. Ubique

1 out of 3 was good. Labels aren’t centred and damaged boxes.

This small distillery has knocked it out of the park again with this one! Greatest story ever told is bestowed on the label of this bottle, showing our true Canadian pride. From the elegant artwork, beautiful display box to the sweet aromas and perfect taste, they have made something that bests all the competitors, something we can all enjoy, something truly Canadian.

A lovely oak and vanilla start with a very nice smooth finish. Comparable to some of the lighter ten year old single malt Scotches.

As this is a gift for my brother, who was a Gunner in the RCA, I haven’t opened the product to taste it. I based my rating on packaging and presentation. Thank you.
