Commemorative Whisky for Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians) - 10 Year Old Single Malt Whisky - 43% Alcohol/volume - 700ml

$5 from each bottle sold will go to Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians) Regimental Society (Charitible Number: 107643462RR0001)

Raised in 1900 and at personal expense by the Great Canadian entrepreneur and patriot Donald Alexander Smith, 1st Baron Strathcona and Mount Royal, the Regiment saw immediate and distinguished service in the South African (Boer) War.  As the 20th century unfolded, the Stratchonas were a core unit of Canada's army in the First and Second World Wars, the Korean War, West Germany (Cold War), UN Peacekeeping operations in Egypt, Cyprus, Cambodia and the Balkans, and NATO operations in Bosnia and Kosovo.  More recently, the Regiment provided armoured reconniassance and main battle tank squardrons to Canada's Task Force in the Afghanistan War and has led the NATO Baltic Battle Group in Latvia.

Throughout 125 years of storied history, the Strathconas have proudly carried the spirit of their Founder and the Canadian West, as emblazoned on the Regiment's Badge - Lord Strathcona's family coat of arms, and voiced by the Regimental Motto - originally of the famous North West company - PERSEVERANCE .

    Looks good

Haven’t opened yet, saving for the right occasion, but the bottle and case were done really well. A lot of colleagues jealous I got one of the first 25 bottles.
